Our Frequently Asked Questions.
References
All lettings are subject to references and landlords approval. Should you decide to lease the property we require the following for all of the prospective tenants:
- Current employment reference
- Previous landlord reference
- P.P.S. Number
- Photocopy of passport
- Security Deposit - equivalent to one month rent
- First months rent in advance
- A standing order set up for the first day of each month
Leases
The majority of our leases are for either six or twelve months, this may vary depending on the property and your specific requirement. If a tenant does not complete their term, they risk loosing there security deposit and may be required to pay additional re-letting charges.
Utilities
As part of our service, we will transfer the ESB and Bord Gais accounts into your name. Please note, that at the end of the tenancy, Fitzwilliam Properties will transfer the account back into the Landlord's name and forward the closing bill to your new address.
Payment Methods
Prior to moving in, a deposit which is the equivalent to one months rent, as well as the first months rent must be paid in cash or by bank draft. Rents are to be paid on the 1st of each month via a standing order set up with your bank. At the end of the tenancy, it is the tenant's responsibility to cancel the standing order. Standing orders cannot be canceled without account holder’s written instruction.
Private Residential Tenancies Board
The Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) is an organization set up by the Government which provides information on landlord and tenants rights and from September 2004 all landlords must register new tenancies with the board. All tenants living in the property must sign a Tenant Registration Form and provide their PPS number for this form.
What time is reception open until?
Our reception is open 9:00 - 17:30 Monday - Saturday
Do you have secure parking?
Yes, we offer secure on-site parking. Please reserve your space at the time of booking.
Do you have internet access?
Yes, we have a number of different packages available see rate card for further details.
What contents are provided in the apartments?
Cooker/hob, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, Microwave, vacuum cleaner, high pressure showers, built in wardrobes & shelves, Italian Leather furniture suite, Table & chairs, 4 ft 6 beds with memory foam mattresses, Coffee table & Lockers.
Do you accept Pets?
No, sorry we do not allow pets in any of our apartments.
Do you allow smoking?
Smoking is only permitted on Balconies or outside of the premises. This is due to health and safety reasons and is for the benefit of all residents.
Do you provide a cleaning service for the apartments?
Yes, a cleaning service can be provided at a rate of €15 per hour. Subject to availability.
What are your security arrangements?
24 hour monitored digital CCTV and magnetic locks to all doors. Our security team is on call 24 x 7. Please note any non essential call outs will result in a fine.
